  • Dan Goldhaber will discuss the importance of good teachers for student achievement at a Brown Center on Education Policy event, Creating "America's Teacher Corps". March 15, 10:30 am-noon, at the Brookings Institution in DC. Goldhaber and fellow panelists will later provide policy briefings to the Senate HELP committee, the House Committee on Education and Labor, and the Department of Education.

  • All Students Achieving through Reform Act of 2009. Robin Lake testified before the US House Committee on Education and Labor, regarding H.R. 4330, legislation that would create a new competitive grant to expand and replicate successful charter schools. February 24, 2010.

  • What Research says about School Budgets. Marguerite Roza presented at the Education Writers Association 2010 Research and Statistics Bootcamp, co-sponsored with the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and WestEd, February 25-28, 2010, Arizona State University. Information can be found here.
