Dr. Goldhaber is Director of The Center for Education Data & Research (CEDR), which he launched in July 2010. From 2002-10, Dr. Goldhaber was a Principal Investigator at CRPE, where his work focused on teacher labor markets and the role that teacher pay structure plays in teacher recruitment and retention; the relationship between teacher licensure test performance and student achievement; the stability of teacher effectiveness measures over time; the influence of human resource practices on teacher turnover and quality; and the role of community colleges in higher education.
