Shelley De Wys is researcher for the School Finance Redesign Project, a four-year project developed to provide information and policy options for redesigning school finance to better support student performance. Ms. De Wys graduated from the University of Washington's Evans School with an MPA in education and social policy. While at the Evans School, she worked for two years as a research assistant for the Human Services Policy Center. Prior to attending the Evans School, Ms. De Wys obtained a BS in civil engineering from Calvin College and a MS in environmental health and water resources engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. She also worked for ten years as an environmental engineer.
