Melissa Bowen is a researcher at the Center on Reinventing Public Education. She is currently working on a study of education finance systems in four states as part of the School Finance Redesign Project. Ms. Bowen holds a B.A. in Social Psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz and an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Washington.
