CRPE analysis of impact of stimulus funds on K-12 jobs cited in testimony before Senate Appropriations Committee

Joe Morton, State Superintendent of Education in Alabama, cited a CRPE study in his testimony before the Senate Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies. The brief cited, K–12 Job Trends Amidst Stimulus Funds: Early Findings, found that over 342,000 jobs were funded the by American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and, more specifically, the State Fiscal Stabilization Fund.
