A webinar for the District-Charter Collaboration Compacts Project
In 16 cities to date, leaders have signed public compacts committing to put aside differences and work together for student success. This webinar discusses district and charter leaders efforts to expand options and improve services for students with severe disabilities. In Denver, leaders are working to place programs in charter schools in order to provide services for the highest-need students. In Los Angeles, the district has established a "reserve" that pools funds to support charter schools to serve students with the highest needs.
