An important part of supporting choice is providing families with good information about school performance. Often though families do not have access to school performance information when deciding schools. The Florida Department of Education implemented an A-F School Grading System that works to provide transparent, objective, and easily understood data to parents, educators and the public to spur improvement among all schools. State and district leaders will spark a frank conversation about whether and how to use state accountability system in districts’ school choice processes and will ask participants for feedback on how to expand the use of school performance information.

CRPE is partnering with the U.S. Dept. of Education's National School Choice Resource Center to present this Webinar Series on Strategies to Expand School Choice, exploring how districts and choice schools can work together.
