A webinar for the District-Charter Collaboration Compacts Project
In 16 cities to date, leaders have signed public compacts committing to put aside differences and work together for student success. This webinar, led by Neil Dorosin, founder and Executive Director of The Institute for Innovation in Public School Choice, discusses the advantages of common enrollment systems for charters and district-run schools, the technical and political barriers that must be overcome to make common enrollment effective, and design guidelines that should be considered. Neil's team has worked on enrollment and choice reform in school districts all over the country and is currently supporting projects in New Orleans, Denver, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Newark.
