Heather Casimere is the community engagement manager at CRPE. In addition to providing support to CRPE’s director, Heather creates protocols and conducts interviews for multiple projects, crafts blogs and reports, sits on the equity steering committee, and actively engages in cultivating spaces of community. Prior to joining CRPE, Heather established her career in higher education at Columbia, Stanford, and Seattle universities. A passionate creator of wellness resources within communities of color, Heather founded Brave. Warrior. Free. Art. in 2016. She holds a BA in English (Creative Writing) from San Francisco State University and an MA in Theology & Culture from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology.
