Shannon Murtagh

Shannon Murtagh is a research analyst at the Center on Reinventing Public Education, where she works on the Portfolio Network project. Murtagh works with district leaders to develop implementation strategies and to find effective ways to advance and communicate district strategy and progress. Before joining CRPE, she was a regional organizer for the Obama campaign. She also interned with Stand for Children WA, where she learned firsthand about the challenges facing urban educators, and she was an outdoor education instructor. Murtagh has a BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Yale University and an MPA from the University of Washington.
