This is an empowerment agreement between New York City Department of Education and individual principals. The contract comes into effect in the 2006-2007 school year and carried through the 2009-2010 school year. The agreement outlines the expectations of the principal in regard to Education Programming, Resource Management, Administrative Exemptions, Affiliation, and Support Structure. Additionally the contract highlights the level of accountability the principal will be held to with rewards and consequences clearly stated.
