Baltimore Public Schools, led by Superintendent Gregory Thornton, is intentional about optimizing productivity in its schools from consolidating low enrollment middle schools to maximizing enrollment in newly opened facilities. It has also launched creative solutions for distributing its greatest teachers and principals into lower performing schools.
