Metro Nashville Public Schools, led by Superintendent Jesse Register, is moving toward pupil-based funding for all schools with a new funding model in place in the fall of 2015. The district's strategic plan allows for greater budget flexibility and more overall autonomy for school leaders. MNPS has also released scorecards that measure all schools using multiple metrics.
